My first project from “Mastering Tatting”- Lindsay Rogers

I am really enjoying this pattern from Lindsay’s new book. The pattern is really easy to follow and remember. The directions are clear and joins at the end of each round/motif are not awkward to complete.

This is my first blog from my smartphone. Much different to typing on a keyboard, not sure I like it yet.

As always, until next time
Happy Tatting

  1. What a coincidence! I have tatted two of the small motifs from this exact book today! I really like it, but I keep getting distracted and making silly mistakes! Your mat looks lovely! 🙂

  2. love your multi coloured projects they are amazing. Your dragon is gorgeous.
    Happy tatting!

  4. A friend of mine just got this book, and I am eager to find out more about what it has inside. Is it just a beginner book or more advanced than that?

    • It is a lovely book Barbara, you will enjoy it! The patterns all use basic rings and chains, but they are sometimes joined in different ways- so I think the instructions are more at an intermediate level. It is probably worth trying some and if they are too hard, come back to them, or use them as practice peices to build your skill.
